I was playing some beats over FaceTime, and Bilqees told me to send her this one. I already had a few rapper friends who wanted to kill this beat. I never “send” beats to anybody via email but I was curious about what she thought about it. She wrote the lyrics and recorded herself on her phone, harmonies and all.
I wasn’t expecting to write on it after that, because I thought her version Aline was just that good. But it was short, so ther was room for me after all.
